Booking & Deposit Policy
Please review before reserving studio time or post-production services.
We keep things simple, fair, and focused on the work.
1. Booking Retainer
To reserve studio time or begin post-production work, a 50% booking retainer is required.
This retainer:
- secures your session date or project slot
- is applied toward your total project cost
- is non-refundable, as it reserves dedicated time in the studio schedule
Studio Time
- Recording Hourly ($95/hr) — 50% retainer
- Half-Day Lockout (4 hours, $340) — 50% retainer
- Full-Day Lockout (8 hours, $590) — 50% retainer
Post-Production
- Professional Mixing ($320, up to 3 minutes) — 50% retainer
- Mastering ($125, up to 3 minutes) — 50% retainer
- Mix + Master Bundle ($425, up to 3 minutes) — 50% retainer
2. Final Payment & Delivery
The remaining balance is due upon project completion and is paid through a secure checkout on our website.
For post-production:
- Final files are uploaded to a secure server
- You will receive an email when everything is ready
- Download access is granted only after the remaining balance has been paid in full
The studio is not responsible for maintaining long-term file storage unless otherwise agreed in writing.
This ensures a smooth handoff and protects the time invested in your project.
3. Scheduling & Rescheduling
Studio time is reserved exclusively for you.
- 48+ hours notice — One reschedule is allowed. Your retainer transfers to the new date.
- Less than 48 hours notice — The retainer is forfeited.
- No-show — The retainer is forfeited.
This policy allows the studio to operate fairly for all clients.
4. Session Timing
Sessions begin at the scheduled start time.
Late arrivals reduce available session time and do not extend the booking window.
5. Post-Production Commitment
Once mixing or mastering work has begun:
- The retainer remains non-refundable
- Final files are delivered after full payment
- If a project is paused or abandoned, the retainer covers work already completed
6. Workflow
This studio operates with a hybrid workflow (analog + digital).
Depending on the project, sessions may incorporate:
- analog processing
- digital recall
- or a combination of both
This approach is part of the studio's sound and does not affect pricing unless discussed in advance.
7. Payment Links
For convenience, payment links may be provided via email.
- These links are time-limited
- Intended for the original recipient only
- May expire or become invalid after use
If a link is no longer valid, a new one can be requested.
8. Emergencies
Real-life situations happen.
When possible, a one-time courtesy reschedule may be offered at the studio's discretion.
9. Agreement
By submitting a booking and paying the retainer, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
